Johnny Brevik is Chief Technology Officer at Optum Serve, the Federal business within Optum and part of UnitedHealth Group. He is a technology and healthcare leader with 21 years’ experience leading teams in product management, architecture, product design, software engineering, data science, and IT operations for both large and small businesses.
In his role, Mr. Brevik focuses on technology strategy, integration, product transformation and platform development. He serves as the leader for the company’s technical architecture, software development, platform services, cloud infrastructure, and advanced technologies teams.
Mr. Brevik holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, Wis. He also holds a health care-focused Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business, Saint Paul, Minn.
