Abir Ray

Abir Ray is the founder and CEO/CTO of Expression Networks LLC. He is the principal software architect for DISA’s Joint Spectrum Data Repository and Electromagnetic Battle Management (MVCR1) programs. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Interdisciplinary Studies, master’s degrees from Harvard University and Cornell University in Software and Systems Engineering and is currently completing his Doctor of Engineering at the George Washington University. As CTO of Expression Networks LLC, Mr. Ray oversees all its technical efforts in support of the Federal Government to include programs at the Defense of Defense, Department of Justice, and Department of State. He led the modernization of multiple spectrum operations program within the Department of Defense from the spectrum certification process and the automation of joint electromagnetic spectrum operations. He has presented on behalf of the Department to industry and foreign governments alike, representing DoD interests. Under his leadership, Expression Networks has been selected by Inc Magazine’s 5000 award every year from 2018 on, by Washington Technology as #1 in its Fast 50 of fastest growing businesses in 2018. Expression Networks is a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, an Aerospace, Defense & Government focused private equity firm based in the Washington, DC area.
Andrew (Andy) Zeswitz

Andrew (Andy) Zeswitz serves as the Chief Technology Officer for REI Systems. He leads corporate strategy to identify and adopt new technologies, champions innovation and delivery evolution, and is responsible for building capacity and mentoring talent within the organization. With experience spanning nearly 25 years, Andrew strengthens our team in support of our customers’ continuously changing needs.
Andrew excels in reducing complex problems into achievable solutions leveraging service design and technology. Focused on mission delivery, he is passionate about crafting the right solution to provide value to both stakeholders and users of a system. With extensive experience in supporting the Federal market, Andrew’s main focal points are application modernization, delivery automation, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
Before joining REI Systems, Andrew served as Program Chief Architect with AbleVets, A Cerner Company, in Chantilly, VA, and Senior Technical Director at ICF, located in Fairfax, VA. In these roles, he has a proven record of developing teams, adopting modern delivery practices, and driving innovative, right-sized solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
Andrew has a BS in Molecular Biology from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Chris Hughes
Co-founder and Chief Information Security Officer

Chris brings nearly 20 years of IT and cybersecurity experience to his role as co-founder and chief information security officer at Aquia as well as a Cyber Innovation Fellow (CIF) at the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency (CISA).
As a United States Air Force veteran and former civil servant in the U.S. Navy and the General Services Administration’s FedRAMP program, Chris is passionate about making a lasting impact on his country and our global community at large.
In addition to his public service, Chris spent several years as a consultant within the private sector and currently serves as an adjunct professor for cybersecurity master’s programs at Capitol Technology University and the University of Maryland Global Campus. Chris participates in industry working groups, such as the Cloud Security Alliance’s Incident Response and SaaS Security Working Group, and serves as the Membership Chair for Cloud Security Alliance D.C. He is the co-host of the Resilient Cyber Podcast.
Chris holds various industry certifications, such as the CISSP/CCSP from ISC2, as well as holding both the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure security certifications and Cloud Security Alliance’s Certificate of Cloud Auditing Knowledge (CCAK). He holds a B.S. in Information Systems, a M.S. in Cybersecurity, and an MBA. He regularly consults with IT and cybersecurity leaders from various industries to assist their organizations with their digital transformation journeys, while keeping security a core component of that transformation.
Chris is co-author of the book, “Software Transparency: Supply Chain Security in an Era of a Software-Driven Society,” published by Wiley. He has also contributed many other thought leadership pieces on software supply chain security and has presented on the topic at a variety of industry conferences.
