Shannon Ayers is the Division Leader for the Laser Systems Engineering and Operations (LSEO) Engineering Division as well as a National Ignition Facility (NIF) Laser and Alignment Section (LASE) lead at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory(LLNL). LSEO is responsible for maintaining a vibrant workforce to support the engineering needs of the NIF & Photon Sciences directorate, and LASE is responsible for the performance, operations and maintenance of the NIF laser and alignment systems.  

Ayers came to LLNL in 1998 as an intern working on the extreme ultraviolet lithography project. She has been part of the NIF team for over ten years, where in addition to laser,

target and diagnostic alignment she led the successful development and deployment of many target diagnostics for use at the NIF, the Laboratory for Laser Energetics and the Atomic Weapons Establishment.  

Prior to supporting NIF, Ayers served as project engineer and manager of several optics processing projects in support of the Global Security and Physical and Life Sciences directorates. When not supporting the NIF facility operations or capability enhancements, Ayers is engaged in workforce development efforts to support an environment that fosters innovation at LLNL. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering.

Geoff DeLizzio is seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience leading successful teams in both non-profit and for-profit organizations.  Geoff currently serves as Chief Advancement Officer at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development, a cutting-edge brain research institute and biotech organization working to prevent and cure mental health and age-related diseases.  Geoff leads the Institute’s data, marketing, and revenue-generating efforts. He is driving growth through the creation of diversified revenue streams while spearheading a brand overhaul to engage broader audiences impacted by mental health and brain disorders. Geoff employs cutting-edge technology to build innovative data and engagement platforms that accelerate growth and mission impact.

Previously, Geoff led revenue, marketing and data efforts as Chief Development Officer at the Epilepsy Foundation of America. There, he modernized the organization’s revenue structure, including 350% growth in digital fundraising and implementing the organization’s first AI-driven fundraising campaign in 2019.  He also held executive leadership roles overseeing mission operations and fundraising at the American Red Cross.  At Inova Health System, he oversaw the organization’s primary care medical group and expanded access to care for uninsured patients at the InovaCares Clinics for Women and Children.  Earlier, Geoff managed global health projects as Executive Vice President at the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children.

Geoff holds a degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He resides in Potomac Falls, VA, with his wife and two sons.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Weston Helms leads the company’s strategic growth initiatives, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and investments.

Before joining CentralSquare, Weston served as Vice President and Practice Lead – Transaction Advisor at Wolf Den Associates where he led clients through complex aerospace, defense, and government services acquisitions, divestitures, M&A strategy, and post-merger integration efforts. Previously, he was a Senior Associate, Corporate Development at CSRA, sourcing and executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint-ventures, and strategic initiatives. Earlier, while leading global mergers & acquisitions for Computer Sciences Corporation, he completed more than 20 IT and Professional Services M&A transactions with an aggregate value of over $4B.

Previously, as Vice President for AWS Worldwide Public Sector Channels and Alliances, Jeff accelerated cloud technology innovation in the AWS Partner community. He also spearheaded the establishment of the high-growth Latin America, Canada, and Caribbean public sector sales organization.

Bringing over 30 years of global tech leadership, Jeff is a sought-after speaker at global forums, frequently quoted in the press. He represents AWS on the President Eisenhower Business Council for International Understanding, John Rockefeller’s Council of Americas Board of Directors, and the Alliance for Digital Innovation in Washington, D.C.

He holds a degree in political science and mathematics from Principia College and pursued graduate studies at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. A former City of Seattle elected official, Jeff is an FAA Commercial pilot and volunteers with nonprofits like Sea Legacy, Big Dog Rescue Project, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

Dave Levy is the Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector and Healthcare and Life Sciences North America at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, Dave leads government, education, aerospace and satellite, and nonprofit businesses globally. He also leads healthcare and life sciences in North America. He and his teams help customers realize the potential of technology to transform their organizations and fulfill their missions. Previously, Dave served for six years as the Vice President of AWS’s U.S. Government, Nonprofit and Global Healthcare businesses.

Dave’s team is focused on helping customers harness data in more sophisticated ways. Public sector organizations continue to look for ways to leverage the cloud for machine learning and artificial intelligence insights that can drive innovation — especially regarding their critical missions.

Before joining AWS, Dave worked for Apple Inc. for 12 years and led the teams that helped the government adopt innovative mobile technologies. Under his leadership, Apple’s public sector business grew rapidly. As head of the U.S. public sector, he played a key role in introducing and adopting mobile devices and mobile apps in federal, state, and local governments. In addition to his executive career, Dave co-founded Sulla Technology Group. As co-founder and COO at Sulla, he built a successful data center services company focused on higher education clients and state and local governments.

Dave serves on the M Health Fairview Health System board in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Innovation and Research Board for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
