Alona Katz has been a prosecutor at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for over ten years.  She currently serves as Deputy Bureau Chief of the Cybercrime and Identity Theft Bureau.  Alona has led and supervised investigations related to cryptocurrency and successfully utilized blockchain analysis to help recover stolen assets.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Alona worked for the New York State Attorney General’s Office as a criminal investigator.

Terry Monahan is currently a law enforcement consultant for Chainalysis. He was formerly the Senior Advisor Recovery Safety Planning, where he advised the New York City Mayor on the city's COVID recovery safety, as well as worked with all communities, city agencies, public and private business, and nonprofit sector to determine what concerns needed to be addressed during and after the pandemic. Helping to lead the COVID Recovery Task Force, they were developing solutions, troubleshooting safety issues, and listening to ideas across the five boroughs in order to ensure a recovery in every corner of the city

Terry joined the New York City Police Department in January 1982, and began his career on patrol in the 41 Precinct in the Bronx. He rose through the ranks to be selected to become the Chief of Department in 2018. In that role, he was responsible for the NYPD's day-to-day operational and administrative functions. This includes overseeing the department's six bureaus and respective chiefs, as well as leading 36,000 sworn police officers and an additional 16,000-member professional staff.

Since that time he has spearheaded major technology initiatives, including the department's policy on the utilization of drones. Terry was also in charge of the NYPD's CompStat program, which has been adopted across the country by public and private agencies. With nearly four decades of law enforcement and leadership experience, Terry has advised police departments across the world - such as Thailand, Dubai, France, Ireland, Israel, Jordan, and Toronto - on the successful policies and procedures accomplished throughout his tenure.
