Colonel Michael S. Medgyessy is the Chief Information Officer, and Cybersecurity Authorizing Official for the Air Force Intelligence Community. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy, governance, cybersecurity, AI, Cloud, and network modernization of the Air Force Intelligence Information Enterprise valued at $55B. Col Medgyessy has previously served the President in the White House Communications Agency as the Director of Acquisition and Modernization. He also served as the commander of the 89th Communications Squadron, and the 691st Cyber Operations Squadron. He served in the Joint Special Operations Command, combat communications, Air Operations Center, Network Operations Support Center, MAJCOM and Air Staff positions. He has served duties as Commander, Chief Technology Officer, Director of Operations, communications engineer, and program manager. His career includes deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Colin Gosnell is a key figure at Comcast Business, where he guides the strategic direction and continuous enhancement of the Public Sector Services Portfolio. This portfolio focuses on a progressive outlook, shaped by cutting-edge market trends and innovative technologies. The Strategic Planning team, through analysis of business and technology trends, market data, and agency feedback, identifies and targets investments that resonate with the company’s enduring goals and the current market climate.

Previously, Gosnell led the Solution Engineering department at Comcast Government Services, LLC, where he directed a team of expert customer facing sales and implementation engineers. Their mission was to harness the power of Comcast Business’ offerings to forge sophisticated solutions addressing the dynamic communication needs of the US Federal Government.

Before his tenure at Comcast Government Services, Gosnell served as a Senior Technical Advisor for SAIC. In this capacity, he was embedded with Federal agencies as a SETA, advising on acquisition strategies, technical viability, budget considerations, and industry partnerships to facilitate the immediate transformation and futureproofing of terrestrial communications infrastructure to fulfill ongoing and prospective mission aims.

In his role as CTO for British Telecom Federal, Gosnell was charged with ensuring the operational integrity, stability, and security of IT frameworks and systems. He pioneered a comprehensive IT strategy that complied with diverse Federal standards and operational readiness benchmarks. Under his leadership, the BT Federal Engineering team crafted technical solutions that culminated in securing contracts for GSA’s Enterprise Information Solutions (EIS) and DISA’s Global Network Service (GNS).

Gosnell has also contributed to various sub-committees of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC). He is a staunch proponent of fostering public-private partnerships and technical innovation within the Federal Government, aiming to expedite the adoption of technology throughout the US Government’s operations.
