Barry Hodge serves as a Branch Chief for the Cloud Solutions Branch under the IT Product Subcategory’s Software Division, within the Office of Information Technology Category (ITC), in GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service. The Federal Acquisition Service provides buying platforms and acquisition services to Federal, State and Local governments for a broad range of items from office supplies to motor vehicles to information technology and telecommunications products and services. ITC provides access to a wide range of commercial and custom IT products, services and solutions. Mr. Hodge is responsible for the oversight and development of the GSA Cloud Marketplace and other Cloud acquisition projects. He also oversees the advancement of supply chain risk management (SCRM) practices across cloud-related contract vehicles. Since joining GSA in May 2022, Mr. Hodge leads a team of cloud subject matter experts that help agencies find the right cloud solutions and provide guidance to vendors interested in selling cloud solutions and cloud-related IT professional services through the Cloud SIN on the GSA Multiple Award Schedule and other ITC-managed contract vehicles. Prior to joining GSA, Mr. Hodge served 22 years in the civilian federal government in various IT leadership roles, leading teams responsible for on-premises IT infrastructure architecture and operations to include, enterprise directory services, enterprise software certification & deployment, and end user services such as office collaboration, virtual desktop services and application hosting. In recent years, he has led technical teams responsible for cloud planning, governance, migration and operations.
