The Biden administration released a National Cybersecurity Strategy this spring that lays out fundamental principles that agencies should use to create a secure network infrastructure for both virtual and physical components. A great deal of the initial focus has been on digital or virtual components—software, wireless, space-based assets and the internet. But equally important for agencies building a Zero Trust Network infrastructure is securing and managing the physical components of cyberspace—the networks, phones and other physical devices connected through edge computing, WiFi access points and other channels to a network.
Industry partners, such as Ruckus Networks, can provide options for agencies that are challenged by budget constraints and talent shortages to improve their security and manage their networks with platform tools that offer visibility and analytics about data on the network.
Learn as a GovExec moderator discusses with a Ruckus subject matter expert what has worked for federal organizations and what other agencies can learn and apply to their own situations to secure the whole infrastructure.
