This session focuses on operationalizing AI for DoD agencies, moving beyond the hype to practical, enterprise-ready Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. We will address key challenges in managing, securing, and scaling large language model (LLM) deployments, particularly concerning APIs. The discussion will cover how to ensure security and safety for LLM APIs, including protection against prompt attacks and sensitive data leakage, as well as cost optimization through token-based limits and semantic caching. Attendees will learn about implementing robust observability for usage patterns and compliance, and strategies for providing optimal user experiences through intelligent model routing and failover to ensure continuous availability. The session will demonstrate how an API management platform like Google Cloud's Apigee can serve as a central nervous system for AI investments, enabling rapid development, consistent experiences, and a governed ecosystem for AI models across the DoD.

This session demonstrates how customers can evaluate the impact of APT attacks in their production network using Mandiant Security Validation (MSV) and Google Threat Intelligence (GTI). Attendees will discover how GTI gathers intelligence, generates finished intelligence reports and helps customers identify who is targeting their organization and what their attack tactics, techniques and procedures are (TTPs), and the benefit of citing GTI reports to save operators time instead of declassifying government intel sources. They will also learn how MSV assists Cyber Missions in testing these attacks in their environment and improving their security controls. Use cases are: SIEM false positive reduction, technology optimization, speed to detect detection and reduced cost (doing more with the same).
