As the Army continues to transform for large scale combat operations in a multi-domain environment it is imperative to balance modernization with sustainability. The modern soldier has a plethora of Tech-enabled equipment and capabilities at their disposal. Moreover, the development of this technology is only accelerating as the future of conflict becomes increasingly digital and reliant on new technology and innovation. However, the pace of technology is rapid and IT components are becoming more of a consumable item than durable equipment, thus requiring more frequent repair/replace/refresh as feature sets evolve.
