Thomas Osborne MD is Chief Medical Officer for Microsoft Federal Civilian. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dr. Osborne held various executive leadership roles at VA and industry. He has spearheaded collaborations with other government agencies, industry and nonprofits to leverage and develop the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, 5G, sensor technology, wearables, robotics, augmented reality, and virtual reality. Dr. Osborne has received numerous national awards for his work that has been published in leading medical journals and textbooks on a wide range of clinical topics, advanced technology, and the future of health care. Dr. Osborne received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School, and completed his clinical residency and fellowship at Harvard hospitals.
