Jon Gruen leverages more than twenty-five highly successful years of leadership in the military and defense industry to provide highly responsive emergency management and security solutions to government customers.  He has led Special Operations teams in Afghanistan and Iraq and was the Chief Operating Officer for all Special Operations Force engagements in the Arabian Peninsula.  At Lockheed Martin, he took emergent customer support requirements and produced solutions for a $1B a year Indefinite Duration / Indefinite Quantity contract in support of Special Operations Forces globally.  At Gothams, he established all the business processes and negotiated quick turn contracts with three Federal Departments, sixteen States, and numerous municipalities for emergency management requirements.  Jon has also advised numerous technology start-up companies that have novel products and services that are relevant to the emergency management and defense markets. 

He is currently a Captain in the U.S. Navy SEAL Reserves where he leads the manning, training, and equipping of tactical teams that deploy in support of Special Operations worldwide.  Jon received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and received his Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, University of California – Berkeley.
