Greg Rogers

State of Maryland
CISO for the State of Maryland, developing a state-wide cybersecurity strategy and information security program with a focus on cyber maturity and risk management in coordination with the governor and state legislature. He is a cybersecurity leader with more than 20 years of broad IT, security, and leadership experience. Previously, he spent 6 years as the CISO of a financial services company managing cyber risk in alignment with business functions and achieving regulatory compliance, and 15 years as a contractor in the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in communications security, encryption devices, and cyber risk management of mission critical systems.
Manuel Castillo
CISO
Prince George’s County, MD
Mr. Manuel E. Castillo is the Chief Information Security Officer for the Office of Information Technology, Prince George’s County, Maryland. He joined the County with 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, cyber operations, digital forensics, and investigations.
Mr. Castillo served as the Executive Director of Cybersecurity for Estee Lauder Companies, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of the company’s cybersecurity strategy as well as roadmaps and services that support cyber defense. He was also responsible for the company’s information security policies, implementing best practices and activities that enhance cyber threat management and mitigate risk.
Prior to his work at Estee Lauder Companies, Mr. Castillo served in several leadership positions for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Security Agency (NSA).
Mr. Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science from Franklin Pierce University in Concord, New Hampshire, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland, College Park. He also holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University in Washington, D.C

Mike Hussey is an industry executive director for state and local strategy for Oracle Government and Education. Mike has 25 years of senior leadership experience with the State of Utah where he most recently served as CIO for the State of Utah and the executive director for the Department of Technology Services. While serving in this cabinet-level position, Mike was known as a collaborative and transformative leader who enjoys applying technological advances available in the market. Among some of his accomplishments while the state CIO, Mike led the state’s cloud journey and digital transformation efforts, created the state’s first cyber center, and formed the state’s first innovation fund. Mike has been recognized as a “Top 25 Doer, Dreamer and Driver” in the public sector.
