Patrick Wright is the Director of the California Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force, where he led the development of the state’s Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan. He was previously Executive Director of the California Tahoe Conservancy, where he managed several interagency climate, watershed, and forestry initiatives, and launched the Tahoe Fund.
Under the Davis Administration, he was appointed as Director of the CALFED Bay-Delta Program, where he led a consortium of agencies and stakeholders in developing and managing one of the nation’s largest collaborative water management programs. He has also served as Deputy Secretary of the California Resources Agency, Senior Policy Advisor to the Regional Administrator of EPA and the Deputy Secretary of Interior, and has held positions in EPA’s Air and Water Management Programs in San Francisco.
David Marvin

Dr. David Marvin is a forest ecologist and remote sensing scientist. His academic research focused on forest carbon, forest disturbance, and GHG flux modeling of land management under climate change. Dr. Marvin was co-founder and CEO of Salo Sciences, a climate technology company that provides high resolution monitoring services and analytics for natural climate solutions and risk management. After Salo Sciences was acquired by Planet Labs in 2023, he is now product lead for Forest Ecosystems within Planet Labs where they are launching the world's first tree-scale global forest monitoring system.
