Cybersecurity remains of the utmost importance for the Department of Defense, but misconfigured IT systems stand in the way of carrying out successful cyber attack prevention strategies. Spending weeks manually preparing for Cyber Command Readiness Inspections (CCRIs) and other IT audits takes precious time away from being allocated to other critical tasks. With these factors in mind, DOD officials must adopt a proactive approach to securing their systems at initial configuration and enforcing them indefinitely — but how?
Compliance as Code (CaC) is here to efficiently solve time management and cybersecurity concerns in the defense industry. By applying CaC to any layer of the IT infrastructure, defense agencies can boost security and compliance, while also reducing expenses and response time.
Join Red Hat and GovExec as we discuss how CaC spans traditional IT silos to enable collaboration, verifies implementation of cybersecurity controls and cultivates a robust DevSecOps strategy.
