Securing the Edge: Contested Logistics and Supply Chain Resilience in the Indo-Pacific

Header and Body

Tune in December 4 at 2pm ET

As the U.S. and its allies prepare for operations across the Indo-Pacific, logistics has become both a decisive advantage and a potential point of failure. Vast distances, dispersed forces, and contested domains place extraordinary strain on supply chains, requiring new approaches to sustainment. The challenge is no longer limited to moving materiel; it is about anticipating disruption, protecting vulnerable networks against cyber and physical attack, and ensuring forces remain equipped and ready at the tactical edge.

In this episode of GovExec TV, taking place at TechNet Indo-Pacific, defense leaders will examine how Special Operations and joint forces are redefining sustainment for contested environments. The discussion will explore initiatives, the integration of supply chain risk management into operational planning, and the role of technology and industry partnerships in building resilience. Rather than short-term  fixes, the conversation will focus on what it takes to create agile, adaptive logistics systems that can sustain combat power and preserve readiness in an era of near-peer competition.
