Raj has been instrumental in reducing overall hosting and technology costs dramatically for both commercial and federal clients and has led multiple major data center consolidations and technology implementations.   Raj previously led a team that architected and deployed an Aerospace  focused Business to Business exchange that processed over a million electronic transactions a month and handled over 100 Billion dollars of spend in per year.  In his current role, he is CTO at RIVA Solutions where he leads RIVA's IT practice areas including DevSecOps, Cloud Computing, Data Science and Cyber Security. In his free time, Raj is an avid angel investor working with cutting edge tech startups and also loves to travel and spend time with his family.

Ms. Chung serves as the Strategic IT Operating Group President for Koniag Government Services.  She manages several Department of State (DOS) mission critical programs as well as other civilian accounts, to include USAID, USDA, HHS, DOE, DOC, and DOI.  She is responsible for the planning, management and financial performance of the Operating Group and is the senior executive overseeing operational and business development activities. She is passionate about promoting Koniag’s culture of inclusivity, social mission to support the tribal communities, and supporting the employees to achieve excellence for our customers.  Ms. Chung has nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry with a strong contracts management background with a knowledge of cradle to the grave acquisition/contracts processes.  She applies her broad experiences working for large, mid, and small business to Koniag and has been successful in growing her Operating Group to 200M annual revenue.

Rafael Fagundo, Founder and CEO of Sierra7, started Sierra7 in 2009 the mission to “Serve Those Who Serve” using Sierra7’s status as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to serve Veterans and the Warfighter. Rafael has demonstrated leadership and expertise in advancing strategic partnerships and technical capabilities development that has supported Sierra7’s growth and success in delivering quality solutions to the federal government.

Under Rafael’s leadership, Sierra7 has executed successful acquisitions, achieved organization wide CMMI Service Level III accreditation, and bid and deliver a majority of our contracts in partnership with other socioeconomic status small businesses. These partnerships enable Sierra7 to deliver diverse expertise and capabilities while supporting growth of other small businesses in the Federal Health IT and Consulting marketplace. Likewise, Rafael provides his expertise as a member of the National Veteran Small Business (NVSB) Executive Board to advocate for and advice the NVSB community.

 Recently, Rafael received the 2022 FedHealthIT100 award for his dedication and service to driving change and advancement in the industry. This is a testament to his leadership and ability to drive strategic partnerships that support continued success of small businesses delivering Health IT solutions to the federal government.

GovExec

George Jackson is director of events at GovExec – the largest and most-influential media
company in the public sector marketplace. He joined the company in 2020 to enhance the scale
of their events and audience experiences. In 2021, George launched GovExec TV (streaming
video content) and received the company’s Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, part of their first-
annual Icon Awards.


George graduated from The Ohio State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in English.
In 2006, he earned his master’s in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland,
College Park.


George spent the first five years of his journalism career at WJHL-TV in Johnson City Tenn. –
beginning as an overnight producer for the station’s 6 a.m. broadcast. He advanced to lead on-air
reporter for WJHL’s 11 p.m. newscast.


As a reporter, George examined the earnings of two non-profit hospital systems, felony charges
filed against a local sheriff, predatory paving companies, a health benefits backlog for local
veterans, and a series of cold-case murder investigations. He received an honorable mention for
Best TV Reporter in the 2011 Tennessee AP Broadcast awards and won a Best Investigative
Reporting award from Media General in 2010.


George joined DC’s ABC affiliate WJLA-TV in 2012 to produce Capital Insider, which won
him an Emmy award. One year later, he developed and recorded the pilot episode of Government Matters – a program about the business of government. It debuted as a weekly show on Sunday, August 4th of 2013. George led Government Matters through September of 2020, expanded its reach to a daily worldwide audience, and produced its first feature-length documentary, The Dawn of Generation AI.


George is from Toledo, Ohio. He lives with his wife, twin daughters, and a pair of rescue dogs in
Northern Virginia.
