Mr. Randy Resnick serves as the Director of the newly established Zero Trust Portfolio Management Office within DoD CIO/CS. Mr. Resnick joins us from the National Security Agency (NSA) with over 34 years of experience in offense and defense cybersecurity. In his most recent assignment, Mr. Resnick served as NSA’s Zero Trust Strategic Lead. In that role, Mr. Resnick successfully led and executed numerous ZT activities at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels and also provided NSA leadership during the successful ZT POM 23-27 Issue Paper process. His leadership and technical direction led to the development of the first DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture, the first NSS Zero Trust Reference Architecture, DoD’s ZT maturity model, DoD’s initial strategy for Zero Trust and the construction of two Zero Trust Innovation testbed labs in collaboration with DISA and USCC. Prior to serving as NSA’s Zero Trust Strategic Lead, Mr. Resnick held positions as their Cybersecurity Innovations Director for the NSA Cybersecurity Directorate, served as Chief of NSA’s Red Team, and served as the Deputy Mission Manager for NC2/NC3/NLCC missions.

As the Zero Trust Portfolio Management Office Director, Mr. Resnick’s focus will be to provide strategic guidance, direct alignment of DoD ZT efforts, and prioritize resources to accelerate Zero Trust adoption across the DoD Enterprise while strengthening coordination and collaboration with key partners and stakeholders across the Department, the IC, Interagency, and Industry.

A native New Yorker, Mr. Resnick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickenson University and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from George Washington University. Mr. Resnick has been married for 25 years and has two daughters, ages 22 and 20, who simultaneously adore him as well as drive him crazy.

Brandon Iske is a Principal Solutions Architect focused on enabling Federal Government and strategic accounts at Okta. He is passionate about strengthening our nation’s cybersecurity and user experience through identity focused IT modernization and cyber best practices. 

Before joining Okta, Brandon worked over a decade in government public service to deliver and secure joint Department of Defense enterprise capabilities in endpoint security, mobile management, identity and access management, and zero trust architecture at the Defense Information Systems Agency. 

He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is also a National Science Foundation CyberCorps Scholarship for Service Alumnus and an Okta Certified Professional.

John Amorosi is the Chief Technology Officer for Federal with CrowdStrike. Before joining CrowdStrike, John spent 20+ years in consulting, architecture, and engineering roles across the federal civilian government and private sector. His most recent experience includes acting as a Cyber Security Strategist for McAfee in support of enabling customer cyber mission outcomes by aligning technologies and architectures to strategic initiatives and programs of record.

John is responsible for interacting with federal government departments and agencies to design reference architectures and enterprise implementations that address the unique challenges of their mission. In addition, he is responsible for engaging with industry partners to develop dynamic and innovative cybersecurity solutions that address the evolving threat landscape.

He leverages his 35 plus years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industry to assist agencies with their migration to cloud computing and zero trust architectures. Prior to joining Zscaler, Rich held senior technical positions with Riverbed Technology, Polycom, and Lucent Technologies. Rich is a graduate of the University of Maryland, with a degree in Computer Science. Sky Hackett brings more than 10 years of security, compliance, and payments experience to her role as a Senior Zero Trust Architect with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Most recently she has worked with clients looking to implement Zero Trust architectures in AWS, whether on EC2 or in EKS. She works with federal systems integrators, independent software vendors, and government customers to support a partnered approach to implementing Zero Trust in AWS. In her previous role as a Senior Security Consultant for Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Sky co-authored Verizon’s 2017 and 2020 Payment Security Reports and co-edited the 2018 report, as well.

Sky earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado.
