Creating Decision Dominance & Faster Mission Impact with Agentic AI Planning

Creating Decision Dominance & Faster Mission Impact with Agentic AI Planning

Tune in Wednesday, November 4 at 2:00 PM ET

The People's Liberation Army now conducts AI-augmented wargaming on a continuous basis, underscoring a core tenet of the Joint Warfighting Concept 3.0: the force that out-thinks, out-plans, and decides faster than its adversary closes the decision gap in its favor. For U.S. combatant commands, the challenge is clear. Human-only planning processes are increasingly strained by the pace of change in the battlespace. Plans that can't adjust when one variable changes quickly lose that advantage to an adversary.

This webcast examines whether agentic AI can meaningfully close that gap, offering faster planning cycles and improved decision superiority without sacrificing rigor, accountability, or the human trust those systems require. Panelists will address how agentic AI systems are being used to build and rapidly modify code for wargame modeling and simulation, provide an update on DIU's Thunderforge project, and outline the operational risks that come with this shift. The session will close with practical recommendations for commanders, planners, and staff (J2, J3, J5, J7) across all domains considering how and where to responsibly integrate agentic AI into planning workflows.
