Nominations for the 2026 Federal 100 Awards are now open!

The federal government’s roles and missions extend far and wide, including protecting and defending the United States, overseeing massive health and social welfare programs, securing the border, airways and homeland and delivering countless critical services to Americans. For over fifty years, GovExec has been front-and-center as government has evolved, mis-stepped, and achieved.

We are excited to honor the people in government and the people partnering with government to make it all possible. At GovExec’s Evening of Honors on April 30th, we will honor the current and former government officials and industry stakeholders who have made historic achievements and advances across government.

The Federal 100 are the most prestigious awards in federal IT -- and for good reason. But it all starts with a great pool of nominees. So if you know people you believe should be among the 2026 Federal 100, please make sure our judges know about them, too. The Federal 100 honors individuals across the federal IT community who go far beyond their assigned duties to make a difference.
