Brigadier General Brown assumed duties as Director of Network Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Services and Integration in August 2022. She is responsible for strategy, policy, and guidance to enable mission command across the Army’s Global Enterprise Network.

BG Brown was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, and grew up predominantly in Austell, Georgia. She was commissioned into the Army in 1992 from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Production and Operations Management. She also holds master’s degrees in Telecommunication Management from Webster University and in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. She is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS.

BG Brown most recently served as the J6 at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command from January 2021 to
August 2022 and served as the Deputy J6 from July 2019 to January 2021. Earlier she served as
Executive Officer to the Army’s Chief Information Officer (CIO/G-6) and as the Plans and Strategy Division Chief for the CIO/G-6. She commanded the Defense Information Systems Agency Europe Field Command at Headquarters, U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany, from July 2014 to July 2016. Her previous command and staff assignments included Branch Chief in the Joint Staff J6 at the Pentagon; Commander, 307th Integrated Theater Signal Battalion, Fort Shafter, Hawaii (including deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in 2010); Chief of Operations and Plans, G6, III Corps, Fort Hood, TX; S3 Operations Officer, 3rd Signal Brigade, Fort Hood; S3 Operations Officer, 57th Signal Battalion, 3rd Signal Brigade, Fort Hood; Brigade Signal Officer and Observer/Controller-Trainer, 5th Training Support Brigade, 78th Infantry Division, Fort Meade, MD; and multiple positions in the 4th Infantry Division and 3rd Signal Brigade at Fort Hood. She began her Army career with the 6th Signal Battalion, Fort Richardson, AK, and was later the Battalion Signal Officer in the 106th Military Intelligence Battalion. 

BG Brown’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster (OLC)), the Defense Superior Service Medal (with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (with 4 OLCs), the Army Commendation Medal (with 2 OLCs), the Army Achievement Medal (with 1 OLC), the Meritorious Unit Citation (with 1 OLC), the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the NATO International Security Assistance Force Medal, and the Overseas Service Ribbon (with 5 Tours).


BG Brown has two sons, Justin and Cade.

Mr. Patrick Dedham serves as the Deputy to the Commanding General U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command. Mr. Dedham manages and provides strategic direction for NETCOM activities to lead global operations for the Army's portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) and to ensure freedom of action in cyberspace while denying the same to our adversaries.

Mr. Dedham is an Information Technology (IT) professional and leader with several decades of proven experience with a comprehensive background in IT systems management, cyber security, IT service support, IT infrastructure design, leadership, management, operational and strategic planning. Prior to his current assignment he led and managed IT support and several major projects as the Director for the Regional Network Enterprise Center - National Capital Region (RNEC-NCR), as a Senior Vice President for a private company, and as the Director of Information Technology Services for the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC).

Prior to these assignments, Mr. Dedham served in the U.S. Army for over 28 years. The key positions he held included: Division G6 in the 82nd Airborne Division; International Security & Assistance Force (ISAF) Joint Command CJ6; 11th Signal Brigade Commander; and the J6 for U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM). His operational deployments include Desert Shield/Storm (1991-1992), Uphold Democracy (1995), Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003-2004), and Operation Enduring Freedom (2007-2008, 2010-2011, and 2012) where he provided and managed IT networks, Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) support.

Mr. Dedham graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and earned two Master Degrees in Information Systems Management and National Security from Webster University and the National War College. He has also earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology, and Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certifications.
