Welcome to the GovExec360 Building Your Modernization Roadmap pt II focusing on IT Infrastructure.

As government services digitized in response to the unprecedented need at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the expansion of access to healthcare, education, and other citizen benefits quickly outgrew a once interim solution and became a standard for delivery. Even more quickly, this digital revolution exposed many vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure, in particular, a digital divide between urban and rural areas. Technology leaders committed to the expansion of digital services now grapple with balancing equity and access with modernization goals. 

How are IT experts at the federal, state and local level prioritizing equity in infrastructure advancements? How are funding efforts like the Broadband Connectivity Fund or Digital Equity grants maintaining the focus on equitable access? In this session, GovExec sits down with the agencies tackling expanded access to telehealth and broadband as they work to close the digital divide.
