While physical infrastructure is a key piece of recent federal funding, the legislation also allocates funds for the modernization of government technology. For state and local governments, tight budgets often mean modernization efforts are cut. This federal funding will reinvigorate those efforts to ensure the technology behind state and local governments is secure, efficient and modern. How can leaders best invest to bring their government technology to the 21st century and beyond?

Modernizing technology across the public sector is critical to achieving mission success. How can leaders manage budgets, retrain the workforce and recruit new talent to ensure success?

State and local governments continue to increase their procurement of cloud-based platforms as a way to modernize their technology services, reduce their IT budgets and improve workflows. As the use of cloud grows, how are states and locals working to ensure their cloud services are performing to their maximum benefit? In this session, we will explore how state and local governments are smartly, safely and strategically adopting cloud services.
