CLAYTON W. SAMMONS Clayton Sammons is the Executive Director, Cyberspace and Technology and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), Robins Air Force Base Georgia. He is the senior strategist for information, technology and cyberspace operations to integrate, enable, mature, and sustain the portfolio of capabilities ensuring worldwide combat and mission support operations. Additionally, he is a Reserve Colonel to the Chief, Cyberspace Operations for AFRC.

Originally from Texas, he served 23 years as an active duty member in the United States Air Force retiring in 2006. Since then, he’s served as an Air Force civil servant and a Reservist. He graduated from Troy University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and earned a Master of Science degree in Information Resource Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He served in leadership roles in multiple capacities in communications, space, logistics, and combat operations units. He deployed as a commander in CENTCOM’s Combined Air Operations Center and as a communications squadron commander in support of operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
