Dr. Carbone has over 37+ years of experience in serving the defense industry in roles such as: Engineering Fellow, Chief Science Advisor, Technology Director, Chief Engineer for Innovation, Chief Data Scientist, and Adjunct professor for teaching transformational masters and PhD curriculum in Applied AI, AI Security and Ethics, and Advanced Data Science currently at Baylor University.
Dr. Carbone currently serves as Everfox Senior Technical Director supporting Government and Critical Infrastructure. He holds patents in Geospatial Intelligence, Missile Defense, and Data Science critical to Big Data, distributed Clouds, and tactical warfighting, and has extensive professional experience in mission critical intelligence planning, modeling, sensing, and tactical edge communications.
Dr. Carbone’s work has been published in over 100+ AI, Engineering, and Data Science publications. His latest book, “Chatbots, The good, The Bad, and The Ugly”, explores AI, chatbots, and Large Language Models and made available by Springer Publishing.

Erin Kocourek is vice president of business development for the space business and the Golden Dome campaign executive at CACI International Inc, a Fortune 500™ company with more than 27,000 employees committed to expanding the limits of national security.
Kocourek builds trusted partnerships and aligns CACI advanced product solutions with the Department of War, Intelligence Community, and OEM communities to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Prior to her role at CACI, Kocourek was the vice president of advanced technology at CAES, where she led the business strategy and research and development organization focused on pioneering advanced electronics and manufacturing technology, underpinning many of the nation’s most critical capabilities and associated missions. Previously, she was a senior director and the hypersonics campaign executive at Raytheon Technologies. She successfully led an enterprise team chartered to accelerate development and fielding of hypersonic systems for both offensive and defensive missions. Prior to her time at Raytheon Technologies, Kocourek spent 15 years at Lockheed Martin serving in program management and capture roles with increasing responsibility. She spearheaded high-profile initiatives focused on the nation’s toughest challenges in the integrated air, space and missile defense domain.
Kocourek holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from West Virginia University. She actively volunteers for the Junior Achievement organization, is an active U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Sponsor and serves on the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs College of Business Advisory Board for Executive Education. She is an aviation enthusiast and an FAA certified private pilot.
